| No other local beach gives you as wide of a choice for playing in the surf and sand all day, and then grabbing a meal to get you refreshed before heading out to the nightclubs! (And you don't even have to give up your parking spot!) | ![]() |
| Playing in the surf and sand is easy here. You will see more surfers here than anywhere else in the area (there must be a reason...). There are several volleyball nets for those great pick-up games. And for the younger kids, there is the playground area. | ![]() |
| If it gets too hot, or you get thirsty you can quickly walk up to the boardwalk area to get in the shade and enjoy your favorite beverage. Here you will find large, newly remodeled bathroom facilities and a large two-level boardwalk with 41 picnic tables conveniently scattered around several pavilions. | ![]() |
| Getting hungry? Wayside Park has several restaurants, such as The Crap Trap, Floyd's Shrimp House and the Black Pearl. For quicker food or a snack, check out Sam Gelato's or Taco's en la Playa. | ![]() |
| There are some great shops if you are looking for some souvenirs, T-shirts or other items. I particularly like the store called Life is Good. Although it has a broad selection of cool stuff, I think their wind kite selection is the best around! | ![]() |
