We are not alone either; locals and visitors alike have made Destin Commons their favorite place.

In fact, they have won "Best Shopping Complex" for the years of 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 as voted on by readers of Emerald Coast Magazine.

In 2007, ten of their business tenants individually won a "Best of:" award.

Some common amenities include WI-FI access throughout, Valet Parking (in high season), a Trolley Service to assist shoppers to their cars and conveniently located ATMs.

But the main reason we go there is for the entertainment value. It has become one our main destinations for entertainment. Rave Motion Pictures is a 14-screen cinema complex that always seems to have a great selection of current movies.
The food choices are plenty, with something for every budget and taste. Our boys just love Dave's Dogs and Johnny Rockets (go figure, they are the hotdog and hamburger places...) The Hard Rock Cafe Destin has great food and music. Panera Bread and Starbucks Coffee usually get a visit. Debbie even likes Sushi Siam and she is not a fan of Asian food! For something really upscale, we go to the Blue Point Fish Club.
Sometimes we just want to walk and window-shop at the many unique shops. If we get too hot, we wander over to the outdoor interactive fountain built into the ground. The pop-up fountain shoots little geysers of water from 49 heads, which delights people of all ages.
